Returning with a new line up, THE SCENIC prepares for the release of their sophomore album, Bipolaroid, on September 28th. Produced by Mike Watts (The Dear Hunter, As Tall As Lions) and Steve Haigler (The Pixies, Brand New), Bipolaroid showcases the band’s addictive blend of indie pop-rock and sex appeal. Bassist Frank Romantino states, "I feel like we definitely found our sound on this record. With the last record we rushed things a little bit and were under prepared; for this record we really took the time to make sure the songs were right and exactly what we wanted. I am so proud of this record it is definitely the best thing I've done in my entire life."
Fans can get a taste of the new record by visiting the band’s MySpace page, where the first track “So Cal, So What?” has been posted. The page also has a completely new layout viewable at the following link: www.myspace.com/thescenic
The new song is also available via YouTube at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dic1SgSdkoI

With sunburn still fading and laundry still unwashed from their stints on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, the UK's ENTER SHIKARI and Indiana's HASTE THE DAY team up in October for another round trip of the United States and Canada.
The tour, which takes in a full loop of the continent over the course of six weeks, marks the end of a full 18 months of touring for Enter Shikari following the release of their second album 'Common Dreads'. The previous year+ has seen the band completing North American tours with August Burns Red and Alesana in 2009 and touring the US with A Day To Remember (and, in return, having A Day To Remember support them on a Japanese tour) in March 2010.
Most importantly, for those who have seen Enter Shikari on these recent North American jaunts, this tour will also mark the return to the drum stool of Mr Rob Rolfe, who has been unable to play US shows with the band for over two years due to visa issues (now, finally, thankfully, resolved).
These shows will be Enter Shikari's last US appearances before returning to the UK and starting work on their third album.
Haste The Day, on the other hand, are just beginning their latest album adventure. Their fifth album 'Attack Of The Wolf King' was released on Solid State Records on 29th July, the first full length release since 2008's 'The Dreamer' and first to feature the band's current line-up.
Making up the rest of the package are SLEEPING WITH SIRENS (Orlando, FL), Ms. WHITE (Italy), and LIGHTSGOBLUE (UK).
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday 6th August.

In addition, the band has updated their Myspace page with new videos including an amazing Guitar Demo clip showing their unique style.

The girls of powerpop band, KSM have decided to part ways, which has led to the band's break up. See their statement below:
Dear KSM friends, fans, and family,
Its with a heavy heart that we have to tell you all that we've decided to leave KSM and go our separate ways. We can't count how many amazing experiences we've had in this band, but its time for us to move on, and find our next adventure in music. This is one of the hardest things each of us have ever had to do, but we feel that our hearts are leading us down different paths from KSM. We've loved being in this band, and we can all truthfully say that we're like family to each other.
Thank you SO much for all of your constant, and undying support over the years! You were there in the mosh pits, and stood in line for hours to meet us, even if you had the night before too. You wore our t-shirts, gave us so many gifts that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, bought our CD, downloaded our songs, hung our poster on your wall, made your own even cooler posters, watched our videos on YouTube, told your friends about us, and encouraged us online from your hometown and from all over the world. In doing all of these things, and more, you really supported us, and allowed us to live a dream. None of your kind words and gestures have gone unnoticed, or unappreciated, even if we didn't always have the best way of showing it.
This is by no means our last stop in music; but just the beginning. We hope to see all of your faces again soon in whatever project comes next for each of us. Thank you so much!
Love,
Shae, Katie, Shelby and Kate
