Singer/songwriter Christofer Drew has evolved from a boy with 'Big City Dreams' with his guitar - to an eighteen year old, fulfilling those dreams - and releasing his debut album with a major record label. The evolution of Drew's music has truly been amazing to foresee, as well as his extreme increase in fan base (as he now has 400,000+ fans on myspace). While putting out his first album (which is rather short - 8 tracks) - Christofer Drew kept with his original ways, of making something so simple - so beautiful.

Better known as 'NeverShoutNever!' "What Is Love?" kicks off with "Love Is Our Weapon" which allows the listeners to get a greater glimpse of Drew's backing band - known as "The Shout". Drew provides an anthem for his teenaged fan base - proclaiming lyrics such as; "We all want change | And we want it now | ." Although the song lacks in areas, it provides a catchy hook. The first 'true' Drew song off the album would have to be "Jane Doe" - which provides a simple, sweet melody, but the love anthem will make Drew's common 12-19 year old female fans 'swoon'. We even hear some accordion in the background of the track, absolutely adding a new flavor to Drew's music.

The title track, "What Is Love?" takes a different route, as Drew reaches out to none other than his mother and father. This seems as if a more personal track to Drew himself - as he preaches out lyrics like "I used to look up to that love.". During this previous summer, Drew's parents had divorced. Nevertheless, Drew provides a track that more and more of his fans will be able to connect with him to.

If you're looking for your 'common, puppy-love' song - then look no farther than, "Can't Stand It". Drew's younger female fans will absolutely 'fall in love' with Drew after listening to this up-beat song - providing "super-duper-cute" (note the sarcasm there), lyrics. The piano break down of this tracks leads to a up-lifting, swingin' guitar solo. The song never stops popping, which will lead you dancing in your seats.

Nowadays in the music industry, it is tough to find an artist who can truly "tell a story" within their lyrics - which Drew truly has the ability to do. Even if "What Is Love?" is only eight songs long, NSN displays a range of 'mushy love song' to 'deeper', but pleasing life stories. Whether you love or hate NSN, be prepared. NeverShoutNever! will soon be taking over the music industry, mark my words.

Jason Derulo Is Burning Up The CHARTS Again!

“In My Head,” the new single from 2009’s breakout pop star Jason Derulo, is climbing the charts as the follow-up to the Miami-born artist’s smash No. 1 debut single “Whatcha Say.” With sales up by 27 percent this week, and more than 350,000 tracks sold, “In My Head” is also making waves at Rhythm and Pop radio, while its accompanying video clip is among the “Most Viewed” and “Most Favorited” music videos and “Overall” videos on YouTube, as well as the No. 1 music clip in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.

“In My Head” follows on the heels of the astonishing success of Derulo’s debut single “Whatcha Say,” which quickly climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythm and Pop charts and remained atop the Pop chart for four consecutive weeks, making Derulo one of two new artists who debuted in 2009 to go to No. 1 at both the Rhythm and Pop formats with a debut single. “Whatcha Say,” which climbed to No. 2 on the iTunes singles chart, has sold four million copies worldwide, including three million in the U.S., and has been certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Both “Whatcha Say” and “In My Head” will be featured on Derulo’s upcoming debut album, which will be released by Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records on March 2nd, 2010. The album, which will fuse pop with Derulo’s other musical influences, is produced by veteran songwriter and hitmaker J.R. Rotem, who has produced multi-platinum hits for Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Rick Ross, and Plies, among many others.

Discovered by Rotem and brought to Warner Bros. Records by Senior Vice President of A&R and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, Derulo is the first artist signed to WBR’s joint venture with Beluga Heights.

Derulo has written songs for Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston, Pitbull, P. Diddy, Danity Kane, and Iyaz, with whom he co-wrote the No. 1 Pop single “Replay,” which spent five weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, immediately following the four-week No. 1 run of “Whatcha Say.” He has shared stages with T-Pain, Akon, and Mims. Last year he performed at such high-profile events as KIIS FM’s Wango Tango and wowed audiences as the main support for Lady Gaga’s red-hot “Monster Ball” tour of North America.

A multiple threat as a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor, Derulo will also make his feature film debut in MTV Films’ Turn the Beat Around, which hits theaters on February 26th.

DJ Pauly D - better known as 'Pauly D' from MTV's hit series, "Jersey Shore spun at JET in Las Vegas, NV on Friday (January 22nd, 2010). Pauly D pumped up the crowd by adding his own flavor to songs such as Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and Usher's hit song - "Yeah!"

THE ROCKET SUMMER
In another heated date of the Vans Warped Tour - Bryce Avary of 'The Rocket Summer' was kind enough to spend some time with us, chill out, and catch up on what 'The Rocket Summer' has been up to! The Rocket Summer will be performing on the full length, two months Warped Tour. Be sure to check out The Rocket Summer on the Vans Warped Tour this summer! Before the press started, I hadn't arranged to set anything up with Bryce aka 'The Rocket Summer', but as I was approaching the press tent - i saw Bryce sitting there and asked if he had some time to speak. Without hesitation we set something up, and I have to say he is probably one of the most 'real', 'down-to-Earth' guys' you will ever meet. He's truly a sweetheart and he shows it within his music. Be sure to check out 'The Rocket Summer'!
