TELL US: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE COVER?

With the rise of bands who can describe themselves as 'metalcore' or 'hardcore', a lot of them as of lately have been adding the 'auto-tune' effect onto the screamo genre. Bands such as THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, I SEE STARS, A SKYLIT DRIVE and more - can be credited with being the leaders in this pact. Following in their lead, is THE SUBTLE WAY who hails from Fremont, CA. Although, you can hear several inspirations of the electronica, synth-vibe - THE SUBTLE WAY have finally succeeded in finding their own sound, in this sea of current hardcore bands arriving in the music industry. THE SUBTLE WAY are relatively new to the scene, but they have a rising popularity on the well-known social networking site, myspace.com. Here's our take on THE SUBTLE WAY'S album "This Far, The Channels Speak".
The album manages to provide some well-produced, rather catchy tracks - perfect for the moshing/head-banging performances THE SUBTLE WAY will surely provide live. As they not only provide great tracks, but there is true meaning behind the majority of their lyrics. Stick out tracks include; "The Getaway", "Clockwork", "Hard Wired And Inspired", and "You And What Army". For those who don't know - THE SUBTLE WAY - entered the music industry at the very ripe age of seventeen. Let's face it, these kids have surely grown and evolved since then. Providing a solid album, its safe to say that THE SUBTLE WAY have come a long way, and I only see their career progressing from her on out.
Even though there are several bands out in the industry currently with a very similar sound to THE SUBTLE WAY - these guys provide something unique within themselves. Let's take pizza for an instance. There are many slices of pizza out there in this world - but there's always that one slice that tastes better than the others, has more cheese, etc. That slice of pizza is THE SUBTLE WAY. Although there may be those similar to them, they stick out within the bunch (or pie if we're going to stick to that metaphor).
