Epitaph Records, in partnership with Running Man Records, is proud to announce the signing of pop-punk group Veara. The Augusta, GA based band recently wrapped recording on their new studio album, which is expected for release this spring.
The pop-punk foursome consisting of Bradley Wyrosdick (Vocals), Patrick Bambrick (Vocals/Guitar), Bryan Kerr (Vocals/Bass) and Brittany Harrell (Drums) formed in 2003 and have since self-released an EP and full-length album and have toured with bands like The Maine, DangerRadio and Powerspace. In 2009 the band contacted Jeremy McKinnon and Joshua Woodard of hot pop-punk outfit A Day To Remember, who were looking for bands to work with on their newly formed company Running Man Records, and the rest is history.
“The dudes in Veara called me one night to see if I was in town and if I wanted to stop by and check out their new demos they had just wrapped up,” explains Woodard. “I got them to burn me a CD, and within 5 minutes of leaving them I knew they were the band I wanted to work with.”
In January of 2010, Veara entered Wade Studios in Ocala, FL, with McKinnon in the producer’s chair and Andrew Wade tracking and mixing, where they recorded their forthcoming album. Looking for a partner to release the record, McKinnon and Woodard contacted Epitaph’s owner and president Brett Gurewitz who was immediately interested and inked a deal with the band and Running Man to release the album.
"Signing with Epitaph is something that we used to dream of,” says guitarist Bambrick. “We cannot express how stoked we are to be signing with a label that we have been fans of for years. Epitaph has put out many timeless albums, and we are stoked to be a part of an awesome family."
Already championed by readers on popular music site Absolutepunk.net, Veara’s explosive edgy pop-punk riffs and catchy hook driven choruses have made them one of the year’s most promising breakout bands. Catch the band live on their upcoming tour with A Day To Remember, August Burns Red, Silverstein and Enter Shikari this April.

As metal’s most promising newcomers Bring Me The Horizon begin work on their next neck-breaking opus, they leave fans with a brutal reminder of why they’re taking over the genre in 2010. On April 13, Epitaph Records will release an exclusive Deluxe Edition of BMTH’s 2008 fan-coveted, breakthrough album Suicide Season. The three disc collection will feature the original album, 14 remixed tracks and a DVD with four music videos and a ferocious, never before seen live show from Mexico City!
Starting today, fans can check out the explosive new trailer (http://tinyurl.com/yfro4l7) for the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Season and pre-order the must-have collection (http://tinyurl.com/nyd35q).
Influenced by the band’s love of electronica, BMTH invited their favorite DJs, bands and musicians, including The Secret Handshake, Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan), M. Shawn Crahan (Slipknot), among others, to remix Suicide Season in their own aural vision. The result is 14 hard-hitting, electro-metal-mashed tracks that will have headbangers dancing and club kids moshing along to the beats.
Fans and critics can witness the unadulterated chaos and mayhem first hand with an exclusive, never before seen complete live performance from an overcapacity venue in Mexico City, three high energy live videos from a show in Siberia, Russia and their four wildly popular music videos for “The Comedown,” “Chelsea Smile,” “Diamonds Aren’t Forever” and “The Sadness Will Never End.”
BMTH have begun writing their follow-up to Suicide Season with plans to release their third studio album later this year. The band will be returning to the US in June to perform on the main-stage at this summer’s Vans Warped Tour.

"CYE has an amazing stage presence in their live shows. I wanted to combine their big energy with cinematography that matches the song," explains Dobi. "I think a video like this will definitely get viewers to say 'Wow, these guys are awesome. I need to see them live!'"
