If you haven't heard of The Summer Set by now, be sure to expect to hear about them soon. They splashed onto the music scene with their catchy, popular single "Chelsea" - and are currently on the AP Tour alongside bands such as NeverShoutNever!. With up-coming performances at huge events such as Bamboozle, Warped Tour, and more - be sure to remember the name The Summer Set, because there's no doubt that they will be taking over the music scene sooner than later. While on the AP Tour, we caught up with lead singer, Brian Dales of The Summer Set.1. Please start off by introducing yourself (Name, Role In Band, and anything else you'd like to include!).
I'm Brian Dales and I sing for The Summer Set.
2. Well, you're currently on the AP Tour alongside some pretty amazing bands. How's it been going so far? What's been the best part of it?
This has been the best tour we've ever been a part of for sure. All the bands are so close with each other it’s like one big family. I broke my ankle a week into the tour but it hasn't stopped me or affected how much I love this tour.
3. While on the AP Tour - what would you say has been the fan reaction to your set? Has the AP Tour affected your fan base at all?
The crowds have been incredible every night. We play first every night and I really didn't expect kids to get as crazy as they have been for us. It's fantastic. The energy is incredible. This tour has definitely affected our fan base because we're playing for the biggest crowds we've ever played for.
4. Your fan base started to really blow up with the release of your single, "Chelsea". What do you think has made "Chelsea" such a success?
Chelsea became our most popular song pretty quickly after it was released and immediately had one of our best crowd reactions. I think it became our most popular because it was a big step up from our previous EP and it has one of our most infectious choruses.
5. You have some pretty big shows coming up - such as Bamboozle and the Hoodwink Festival. What are you most excited about when it comes to performing at shows as big as these?
I'm so stoked for Bamboozle and Hoodwink. Bamboozle we've always wanted to play and this year we're playing along with some of my favorite bands. I'm personally really excited for Hoodwink because we're playing the songs of Taylor Swift. We learned the songs before we left for this tour and they're so much fun to play. I think the kids will dig it.
6. Have you had any crazy, or just interesting fan experiences so far? What's the best part about 'The Summer Set' fans?
The best part about Summer Set fans is that they know we're just real, normal people and we can hang and have normal conversations with them. There's no mystery. Our fans are the best fans.

Recorded at Wade Studios in Ocala, FL with producer Andrew Wade, Broken Frames takes the sparkling melodic prowess that Eyes Set To Kill has become known for, and shows the band stepping outside of their comfort zone to create the next chapter in their growing musical evolution.
"Andrew Wade is really the first producer that ever challenged us as a band and took us out of our comfort zone. He made us try things that we probably wouldn't have done in the past," Rodriguez said. "Andrew had me try a lot of different things and he was the one that suggested I try singing an octave higher for this record, which really helped me try and find my voice as a vocalist."
Eyes Set To Kill's first album was the release of their 2008 debut Reach, and the band wasted no time recording a sophomore album and released The World Outside in 2009. The album received widespread critical acclaim and the group was plugged on the front page of USA Today, as one of Alternative Press Magazine's "100 Bands You Need To Know", and hosted an episode of MTV’s Headbangers Ball. In early 2010 Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez were nominated for a Revolver Magazine Golden Gods Award in the "Hottest Chicks In Metal" category alongside some of the biggest names in hard rock and metal.
Eyes Set To Kill will be appearing all summer long on the 2010 Warped Tour, along side Alkaline Trio, Dropkick Murphy’s, Every Time I Die, and more.
