If you’ve paid any attention to the music industry recently, you may have picked up on the fact that various musicians lack heart. They don’t convey their messages with passion nor are they in the field for reasons other than those involving monetary gains. Bobby Jo Valentine certainly doesn’t fit that generality and his latest album Home definitely does not lack integrity, hope, or passion. The award-winning singer from the San Francisco, CA area continues to develop a strong, supportive following, as he avidly tours the west coast and conveys his messages beaming of hope. The following he’s developed may appear as peculiar, because of his music’s simplicity. The simplicity isn’t to say he lacks musicality or heart, but simply to illustrate that one does not need extensive Auto-Tuning enhancements or overproduction to create a beautiful album. Bobby Jo Valentine isn’t like anyone else in the music industry right now, and that alone is refreshing.
